You must first download the iTunes software onto your computer. Once you have done this you will be able to create an iTunes account by completing the following steps:
Click on the "Create New Account" tab.
You will be asked to create a username and password for your account and provide some basic personal details.
You will then be asked to select your payment type.
Select MasterCard as the card type.
Enter your 16 digit MasterCard number, expiry date and CVV code on the back of your card.
For the Billing Address, enter the address information you provided to Swirl MasterCard.
Once they have successfully created their account, customers will be sent an email to verify that the email address they provided belongs to them.
Once you click on this link you will have to enter your email address and password to complete the verification of your account.
iTunes: temporary charge of €1.98
When a customer attaches a MasterCard number to their iTunes account, iTunes posts a small temporary transaction of €1.98 to the customer's card.
The purpose of the temporary transaction is to confirm that the iTunes customer has entered the correct credit card information.
For Swirl MasterCard customers, the transaction will reverse automatically after 30 days.
In the meantime, the available balance will be reduced by €1.98. You can contact Swirl Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org to have this transaction reversed at any time.
Once you have successfully added your Swirl MasterCard to your iTunes account you are free to browse the iTunes store. Each time you purchase an item your Swirl MasterCard will automatically be charged so there is no need to enter in your MasterCard details each time you wish to spend!!
